Chris Myers' Children's Place & Family Campus
Our goal is to provide transitional housing, in a stable and loving home environment, for children and their mothers. Our team of volunteers works with each individual and each family to help them learn positive behaviors and life skills and to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in preparation for successful family life.
Our campus is eight beautiful acres with two spacious and comfortable homes, both remodeled to accommodate the families we serve. Each home has a full time resident manager. If you or someone you know needs our services or more information, please contact us.
About Us
This facility is named in honor of Chris Myers, son of Donnie and Vance Myers. Chris suffered from a genetic condition that causes cell damage, but that never slowed him down. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1992, and the University of South Carolina in 1996. On February 14, 2003, Chris died suddenly from complications of his condition. The Chris Myers’ Place will honor his bright, happy life with the hope that others can enjoy a wonderful childhood and become respected, well-rounded young adults like Chris.
